August 17, 2000 - Welcome
Best viewed with MS Internet Explorer -- I hope to get the Netscape display problems fixed within a month.
At the moment I've started to dig 89-Q-3. There should be close to 8,000 bulbs, with 2/3 being rice-grain size. Over 2500 were dug last night.
I'm sloooowly getting my Reticulata seeds counted and entered into my database. I don't expect to have that work completed until at least mid September. Soon after I'll be making some available for sale.

At long last I have reticulatas.com set up almost the way I want it to be. The only thing left is to get more text on the photo pages; but that's not a high priority.
For those of you needing faster downloads try clicking the word "Faster" above.
Now if only I could go back in time to the beginning of the bloom season, then I could put some effort into selecting the best pictures to show you. The ones you'll find here are good, but I'm sure I would choose at least a few differently. The ones you see here are ones I have loaded on my work laptop (Intel based PC). My main repository is on my Macintosh computer at home. This just means that it's a tad awkward to transfer pictures between the two. I had originally downloaded pictures from my camera to each of the two computers. Because of space limitations though, I have only a subset on the work laptop, though it is perhaps double the number you see on my web site.
I haven't heard from too many of you out there. Hopefully that will change once I start broadcasting that my web site is now set up the way I wanted it to be. Please drop me a line.
My other web sites should be up and running by mid August (sorry, looks like end of September is more realistic). I have lots of pictures to share with you; many of which I didn't get a chance to label after I took them (hopefully the notes I made at the time will make some sense). I intend to make them available initially with just their reference picture numbers showing initially.

It's interesting that 94-HW-1 is not a good pod parent from the point-of-view of producing good seed. The other F2s are great. 94-HW-1's pollen works well - I can hardly wait to see it's children starting in four years time.
